Block by Block Creative is hiring a Video Editor for documentary and short-form video projects made for nonprofits, conservation organisations and other mission-driven partners. Requirements
The editor needs professional proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, basic motion graphics skills in Premiere Pro or After Effects, strong storytelling fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines and organise project files across several assignments. Fluent English is required. French, Spanish or American Sign Language is an advantage.
Duties include editing documentary, interview and social media content, syncing and cutting interviews and b-roll, basic colour correction, audio cleanup, creating lower thirds, simple titles and minimal animations, exporting in horizontal, square and vertical formats, applying client revisions, following established workflows, and adding accessibility features such as captions, subtitles and audio description, including ASL where applicable.
