UNDP Communications and Digital Analyst Job 2026 (Home-Based)
Overview
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is recruiting a Communications and Digital Analyst for the Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office (MPTFO). The position is full-time, international and home-based, hosted by UNDP's Bureau for Management Services. The MPTFO is the only UN office dedicated exclusively to designing and administering multi-stakeholder pooled financing mechanisms, and has managed more than 200 UN pooled funds since 2004.
The analyst will help strengthen the office's visibility through digital platforms, AI-enabled tools, website management and content creation. Responsibilities include expanding the MPTFO Gateway digital platform, helping develop AI-powered solutions for fund result management, supporting digital validation of programme results, and contributing to online learning resources and toolkits. The role also covers managing communication pages on the Gateway website, coordinating blog articles and practitioner interviews, producing content for LinkedIn and X, supporting quarterly digital campaigns, assisting with annual reports and publications, managing the communications inbox, tracking website and campaign analytics, and documenting best practices.
Requirements
Applicants need a master's degree in communications, public relations, international relations, political science, social sciences or a related field, with no prior work experience required. A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is accepted with two years of professional experience in communications, public relations, advocacy or digital communications.
Useful experience includes Drupal content management, website administration, social media management, digital campaigns, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, AI tools and prompt engineering, data validation, and visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Fluency in English is required, and French or another UN language is an advantage.
