UNDP BIOFIN Hiring Project Specialist on Investable Nature Project Pipeline | Home-Based|Appy by 23 Sept 2026
Overview
The UNDP Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN) is recruiting a Project Specialist for its Investable Nature Project Pipeline. The post is home-based and full-time, on a one-year International Personnel Service Agreement (IPSA-10), job identification 35467. The specialist also helps pilot countries improve conditions for private investment by identifying legal, regulatory, fiscal, social and policy barriers, assessing investment gaps, risks, investor appetite and de-risking needs, and building relationships with financial institutions, corporates and investors. Other tasks are shaping a concept for a global or regional investment matchmaking platform with UNDP's Nature Investment Facility, running capacity-building workshops in two countries, and producing reports, policy briefs and case studies.
