Overview
Summer Search is seeking a Development and Communications Coordinator to support national fundraising, communications, donor engagement, and events across its five United States locations. Working under the Director of Marketing and Development and collaborating closely with the Donor Communications and Events Manager, this part-time role involves a schedule of approximately 18.75 hours per week, typically performed three days per week from Tuesday through Thursday during standard business hours.
Requirements
Applicants should have at least two years of nonprofit development experience, including donor communications or social media management. Candidates must demonstrate strong written communication and content creation skills, excellent project coordination and time management abilities, familiarity with donor or moves management systems, and experience using Canva and social media platforms. The role requires individuals who can monitor digital performance indicators, adapt to changing priorities, and show a commitment to equity, inclusion, social justice, and the mission of Summer Search. Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT and Adobe Creative Suite is considered an advantage.
What you get
The position provides an hourly rate between $37.31 and $39.68. Eligible part-time staff benefits include prorated vacation and sick leave, ten company-wide holidays falling on scheduled working days, a one-week December organizational closure, professional development funding, training opportunities, employee recognition programmes, and opportunities for internal career development. This part-time position is not eligible for group health, dental, or vision insurance benefits.
