Senior Software Engineer - Python (x/f/m)

Overview

Doctolib is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Python to join its Platform team. The role focuses on designing and delivering essential components that enable Doctolib teams to build robust and scalable services. The work takes place within a feature team developing the Python and Java/Kotlin chassis, project archetypes, business-agnostic services, cross-cutting concerns such as resilience, security, and observability, and Claude Plugins used across more than 60 services. The position is permanent and full-time, based in Levallois, Paris, France, with a hybrid work setup allowing up to two remote days per week.

Requirements

Applicants should be primarily backend engineers with expert knowledge of Python, a solid understanding of web technologies, and familiarity with the software development life cycle. Candidates are expected to have a user-first mindset, be fluent in English, and demonstrate proactive, curious, and collaborative traits. Additional helpful experience includes working with Kafka, Kubernetes, ADK, machine learning libraries, Java, or Kotlin.
