Senior Case Manager & Resource Navigator | Remote U.S. Opportunity | $45–$55 Per Hour

Overview

The Community Impact Fund is seeking a Senior Case Manager & Resource Navigator to support The Khidmah Fund's national case management and resource-navigation work. The role is part-time and remote for candidates based in the United States, paying $45 to $55 per hour. It starts on 1 October 2026 and is funded for at least 12 months, with possible extension depending on funding and organisational needs. The post holder will also help build a new case management infrastructure.

What you get

Expected hours are about 10 per week. Pay depends on experience and is equivalent to an annualised full-time range of roughly $93,600 to $114,400. The person handles intake, resource navigation, case accompaniment, referral coordination and case tracking for people facing financial hardship and other complex challenges. They do not give legal, medical, clinical, financial or religious advice; instead they help beneficiaries understand options, organise documents, complete applications and reach qualified professionals.

Duties include confidential intake and needs assessment, hands-on help with healthcare, pharmacy, rental, food, utility and emergency assistance, following up with agencies and providers where authorised, keeping confidential case records, building relationships with nonprofits, government providers and community groups, vetting resources, and coordinating with Regional Leads on consistent referral and intake practices.

Requirements

Applicants need at least 10 years of experience in case management, benefits navigation, housing stabilisation, social services, community health navigation, client advocacy or resource referral, including independently managing complex, sensitive cases from intake to closure. Strong knowledge of public-benefit and community-resource systems, organisation, communication and documentation, sound judgement and professional boundaries are required. Preferred qualifications are experience with faith-based organisations, Muslim communities or religious leaders, a bachelor's degree in a field such as social work, public health or human services, graduate training such as an MSW, MPH or MPA, and Arabic and/or South Asian language skills.
