The Specialist reports to the Head of Data Governance and helps implement and maintain data governance frameworks across the organisation, within its focus on AI, data and digital capabilities. The aim is to manage data responsibly and consistently, improve data quality and support better decision-making. Save the Children International says it employs about 25,000 staff in 116 countries.

Applicants need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and workshop facilitation skills, familiarity with data management tools and database concepts, and Power BI expertise including handling large data volumes and building dashboards for data quality monitoring. Experience with metadata management and data quality tools is helpful. A degree or equivalent is essential, with a degree in computer science, information management, business or a related field preferred. A postgraduate qualification and certification such as CDMP may help. Experience in data governance, data quality or data management is desirable. Applicants must have the right to work in the country where the role is based.

How to apply

Applicants submit a CV and cover letter. Shortlisted candidates go through a two-stage competency-based interview, sometimes with an extra assessment or third interview.
