Overview

The Coalition to Expand Contraceptive Access (CECA) advances sexual and reproductive health equity across the United States. It is hosted by the Shared Ascent Fund (SAF), a nonprofit set up by philanthropists to strengthen democracy and advance economic, racial and gender equity. CECA brings together organizations and experts to support equitable access to contraception, identify evidence-based solutions and back policies that improve access to reproductive healthcare. It is hiring a Project Coordinator for a fully remote, exempt position that may be full time or part time.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the coordinator provides day-to-day operational, administrative, financial and logistical support. Tasks include coordinating projects, supporting financial management and reporting, processing expenses, scheduling meetings and preparing agendas and summaries, organizing virtual and in-person events and conference logistics, providing technical support using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Salesforce and Zotero, preparing presentations, reports and correspondence, tracking contracts and budgets, supporting monitoring and evaluation, and taking on special projects.

Requirements

Applicants need at least four years of professional experience in public health, healthcare, public policy or a related field, plus experience coordinating conferences, technical working groups or multi-stakeholder projects. They should have excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing and proofreading, organizational skills, the ability to manage several priorities and a high level of accuracy. Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health, rights and justice is an advantage, as is experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Salesforce and Zotero.

What you get

The salary is $75,000 to $80,000 per year, with an alternate Friday schedule, medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with a 5 percent employer match, generous paid time off, about 16 paid holidays, a technology allowance, student loan repayment assistance and mental health support including Calm app access.

How to apply

Candidates submit a resume and, in place of a traditional cover letter, short answers of three to four sentences each to three questions: what interests them about working at CECA, a project or event they coordinated with multiple stakeholders and how they kept it organized, and which parts of the position are most and least exciting.

Key dates

Applications close on 21 August 2026.
