Overview

Great Minds is hiring a Principal Product Manager for Content Authoring, Delivery and CMS. Great Minds is a mission-driven Public Benefit Corporation founded by educators, and it develops research-based curriculum in mathematics, science and English language arts. Its products include Eureka Math, Eureka Math2, Wit & Wisdom, PhD Science, Geodes and Arts & Letters ELA, used by schools and districts across the United States. The organization is growing its digital product capabilities to create more connected experiences for educators, students and administrators.

The position is full-time and 100% remote. It reports to the Director of Digital Product Management and is a senior individual contributor role. The holder takes ownership of content authoring tools, digital content delivery and the content management system, working with Product Design, Engineering, Curriculum, Assessment and Digital teams so that the platforms are scalable, intuitive and able to support K-12 learning.

What you get

The base salary range is $151,000 to $170,000 per year. Great Minds notes that the final figure may vary with location, experience, skills and internal equity, and that the salary is separate from benefits and other possible incentives.

Requirements

Applicants need at least seven years of product management experience, particularly with complex platforms or systems, and experience with products serving several user groups such as authors, teachers, students, administrators and internal teams. Strong knowledge of content authoring tools, CMS platforms and structured content systems is essential, along with systems thinking and the ability to influence decisions without formal authority. A Bachelor's degree is required, and direct experience with K-12 curriculum and assessment products is preferred. New employees must pass a background check.

Responsibilities include setting product strategy and success metrics, leading the vision for curriculum and assessment authoring tools, ensuring accessible and performant content delivery, shaping CMS architecture, workflows, permissions, publishing and versioning, building roadmaps and requirements, and reducing friction across the content lifecycle.

How to apply

Applicants submit a resume and cover letter through the advertised application portal. Great Minds advises candidates to be wary of recruitment scams and notes that genuine hiring messages come from its official domains. The listing is marked as remote, but applicants should check the employer's information to confirm geographic eligibility.
