Overview

Ektimisi is a consulting firm specialising in third-party monitoring, evaluations, research and capacity building. It works with NGOs and international organisations across Syria, Iraq, Türkiye and other contexts, supporting humanitarian and development programmes. It is hiring a Finance & Admin Specialist for a full-time remote position, with candidates based in Gaziantep, Türkiye particularly preferred.

What you will do

The specialist will strengthen financial management, compliance and administration. Finance duties include working with the company's legal accountant on invoices, taxes, declarations and compliance, using QuickBooks, keeping forecasting sheets, issuing and following up client invoices and instalments, supporting bank reconciliations, processing payments to consultants, experts and staff, tracking payment terms and keeping organised financial archives. The role also reviews contracts from a financial and compliance angle and offers practical financial advice.

Beyond finance, the specialist supports business development by preparing CVs, budgets and eligibility documents for proposals, and helps with consultant agreements. The HR side includes staff files, recruitment support, agreements, timesheets and interview coordination. The specialist may also create templates, trackers, manuals and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Ektimisi wants strong experience in finance, accounting support, administration and compliance follow-up, with consultancy, NGO or private-sector experience valued. Useful skills include invoicing, tax documentation, working with accountants, QuickBooks or similar systems, Excel or Google Sheets, forecasting, reconciliation, contract administration and HR support. Organisation, attention to detail, confidentiality, reliability and independence are essential. Fluency in Arabic and Turkish is required, and good English is strongly preferred.

How to apply

Applications go through the designated online form, and those sent outside it will not be considered. The CV must be no more than three pages, state the applicant's current city and country, and begin with the most recent finance, administration or HR roles, with dates, location, employer, main responsibilities and relevant experience. Applicants must also give their expected monthly salary in USD and their availability or proposed start date.
