Overview

Read to Learn Foundation is looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Consultant to support programme quality, evidence-based decision-making and community impact. The consultant helps the organization understand how its programmes are performing, identify lessons and use evidence to improve, linking data, learning, accountability and programme improvement rather than only collecting figures.

The consultant supports the organization's monitoring, evaluation and learning functions and the systems that let programme teams track progress and measure results. Work is expected to include developing and implementing M&E systems, designing indicators, collecting and analysing programme data, tracking progress against objectives and targets, supporting outcome and impact measurement, identifying strengths, challenges and areas to improve, producing clear M&E reports, supporting learning and knowledge management, strengthening accountability and helping programme teams use data to improve delivery.

Who can apply

The opportunity suits candidates with professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, programme evaluation, research, data analysis, learning or development programming. Strong candidates can show experience with M&E frameworks, data collection and analysis, performance measurement, results reporting, impact assessment, evidence generation and learning and accountability, and they should be able to turn data into findings that different stakeholders can understand. Experience with nonprofit, development or community-based organizations is valuable. The source gives no information about pay, location or contract length.

How to apply

Candidates send their CV by email. It should clearly show relevant experience in M&E, data analysis, programme reporting and impact measurement, including any work on M&E systems, indicator tracking, evaluations and communicating findings.
