Mid-Market Account Executive
Overview
Joblogic is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join its team in Birmingham, United Kingdom. As part of a global software business scaling rapidly with backing from Vista Equity Partners, this role involves managing a UK and Ireland mid-market patch. The position requires taking ownership of the entire sales cycle from start to finish, carrying a monthly new-business annual recurring revenue target, and driving growth as the company scales toward £100M ARR.
Who can apply
Candidates must have 12 to 36 months of experience as a Sales Development Representative or Business Development Representative, with a proven track record of hitting targets supported by real figures. Applicants should thrive on cold calling, self-sourcing opportunities, receiving direct feedback, and being judged on annual recurring revenue rather than activity metrics like dials and diary entries.
What you get
The position offers a structured 90-day ramp covering discovery, demonstrations, commercials, and closing. Employees receive full coaching utilizing the MEDDPICC qualification standard, along with discovery, demo, and negotiation training, weekly call reviews, and deal clinics. Additionally, the role provides initial live opportunities, necessary data, tools, and tech stack to support prospecting, and career progression within a growing private equity-backed software business. Visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates.
Requirements
Applicants are required to handle prospecting and cold calling weekly as an ongoing part of the job. The role involves running discovery to reach business impact, demoing Joblogic to operations directors, finance professionals, and business owners, multi-threading, building commercial cases, negotiating, closing deals, and maintaining accurate records in HubSpot.
How to apply
Interested candidates should submit a curriculum vitae along with a cover letter detailing a few lines about the best self-sourced opportunity they have ever handled, explaining how it was found, how contact was established, and what the outcome was.
