Overview

Harper Adams University is offering a fixed-term, part-time maternity cover position for a Lecturer in Veterinary Physiotherapy focusing on equine physiotherapy, with a duration of up to 10 months. A reduced fractional full-time equivalent may also be considered for this role within the Department of Animal Health, Behaviour and Welfare.

Who can apply

Applicants are required to hold an undergraduate degree or a relevant postgraduate qualification in veterinary physiotherapy, along with experience as a practicing equine veterinary physiotherapist. Candidates must also possess in-depth subject knowledge, high-level practical skills, strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities, and the capacity to work independently as well as within a team. While not mandatory, experience in delivering higher education teaching or professional training, conducting scientific research, engaging in interprofessional networking, and authoring research publications in scientific journals are considered desirable attributes. What you get

The salary for this position ranges from £40,705 to £45,641 per annum, pro rata, with the specific entry point determined by the candidate's relevant qualifications and experience.
