Lecturer - BA (Hons) Graphic Design

Overview

Leeds Arts University is hiring a Lecturer for the BA (Hons) Graphic Design program. The position is permanent, part-time at 0.4 FTE, and is based on-site. The role involves supporting Module Leaders in delivering practice-based studio modules, helping develop curriculum content, and guiding students in both print and screen-based design practices. Responsibilities also include teaching across various formats such as workshops, seminars, individual tutorials, and large lectures, while maintaining an understanding of contemporary graphic design theory and context. Candidates are ideally expected to bring industry connections to build partnerships and external engagement opportunities.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a degree in a relevant subject and possess extensive knowledge and expertise as a contemporary practitioner in Graphic Design. An MA or studying toward one, as well as knowledge or experience of Graphic Design in an international context, are considered desirable. CVs are not accepted for this vacancy.
