Overview
The International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistance is seeking a Communications Manager to join its Advocacy and Communications Department. The position reports to the Director of Advocacy and involves leading communications activities to enhance the visibility of humanitarian work supporting children affected by natural and human-induced disasters. This is a full-time, in-office role based at physical office locations in Cairo, Egypt, or Beirut, Lebanon.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media, International Relations, Communications, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred. Candidates are required to bring a minimum of five years of professional communications experience, ideally within the nonprofit or humanitarian sector, alongside proven experience managing communications teams and coordinating cross-departmental work. Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory, paired with excellent English writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. Additional advantages include familiarity with digital content management, communications archives, knowledge management systems, advocacy communications, and strategic messaging.
