Requirements
Applicants need 6 to 9 years of professional experience in strategic communications, public relations, or content production, ideally within global health, education, or international development. A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field is required, while a master's degree serves as an advantage. Candidates must present a portfolio demonstrating personal responsibility for producing major publications from start to finish. Essential skills include excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities tailored for diverse audiences, strong design skills including familiarity with Canva or Adobe Suite, and experience directing professional designers. Applicants must also possess project management experience involving freelancers, budgets, and multi-stakeholder reviews, the ability to translate technical information into engaging materials, strong interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills, and a commitment to the organisation's mission.
