Go Vocal Is Hiring an Account Executive (NorthAm) – Remote, Home-Based|Earn up to $130k
Overview
Go Vocal, a global govtech scale-up run by CitizenLab, is hiring an Account Executive for North America. The remote, home-based role aims to grow the client base across the United States and Canada by winning new local government clients and building relationships, in service of strengthening democracy through public-sector innovation. Go Vocal has about 50 people across more than 20 countries.
What you will do
The Account Executive manages the full sales cycle, from finding potential clients and outreach to product demonstrations and closing deals. They learn local government challenges, source leads through outbound outreach, referrals and public-sector events, work with the North American Sales and Government Success teams, share market insights with the global Marketing and Product teams, and help with tender processes alongside Operations. The aim is to approach governments as a trusted partner, not just a vendor.
Who can apply
Go Vocal looks for about 2 to 3 years of experience or an affinity with the public sector. Sales experience is an advantage, but the company stresses motivation and drive rather than meeting every qualification. It wants a proactive hunter's mindset, strong communication, quick trust-building, a consultative approach, good organisation and comfort with longer sales cycles in a fast-paced environment. Candidates are expected to be based in the United States, in the Eastern or Central time zones. The company says it values diversity and wants to improve racial diversity in its team.
What you get
The advertised on-target earnings are $100,000 to $130,000, split 50/50 between base and variable pay. Benefits include fully remote flexibility, healthcare, an annual global team retreat, a training budget and work within an international team.
How to apply
No closing date is specified, so candidates should check the position is still open before applying.
