Overview
Relief International is recruiting a Geographic Coordinator (H/F) for its Resource Development and Program Implementation team. The post is remote and international, supporting donor engagement, strategic positioning and funding development across several country programmes. The coordinator works with Geographic Managers, Country Offices and technical teams to help mobilise funding for humanitarian and development work. Candidates must be based in a country where Relief International operates, within the time zone range between the United Kingdom and Pakistan, and the role may involve up to 30% travel to country offices and intervention sites.

Requirements
Professional fluency in English and French is required. Applicants need demonstrated experience mobilising funding from institutional and non-institutional donors and supporting complex humanitarian and development opportunities, with relevant work involving ECHO, FCDO, European Union institutions, UN agencies, US Government donors and foundations. They should have managed complex proposal processes, including consortium proposals, from opportunity identification to submission, and understand donor compliance, proposal budgeting, indirect cost recovery and financial management. A degree in international relations, business administration or a related field is expected, though equivalent experience may be considered. Strong writing, editing, organisational and stakeholder management skills are essential. Experience in humanitarian or conflict-affected settings and knowledge of the international humanitarian system are highly desirable.
The coordinator monitors donor trends and funding opportunities, develops concept notes and pitches, leads proposal development, organises design workshops, supports consortium building and internal reviews, advises Country Offices on donor requirements and budgeting, runs go or no-go decisions, maintains funding pipelines, builds country teams' skills and supports submissions on donor platforms such as APPEL, GMS and UNPP.
