Overview

The CANOE Collective is seeking a Finance and Operations Manager to provide financial and operational support to approximately four to eight nonprofit partners. This is a full-time, fully remote position that helps organizations strengthen financial systems, improve administrative processes, and maintain effective internal operations.

Requirements

Applicants must have at least five years of nonprofit bookkeeping experience, including preparing and filing Forms 990 and 1099, alongside at least three years of experience performing human resources, information technology, compliance, or administrative duties within a nonprofit or small business. Candidates need strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, knowledge of nonprofit accounting procedures, and experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. Additional advantages include certifications from NACPB, AIPB, or Intuit, CPA qualifications, and familiarity with platforms such as Sage Intacct, Zoho Books, and Ramp. This position is open exclusively to candidates based in the United States.
