Earthjustice Seeks Digital Advocacy Manager: Remote U.S. Role | Up to $125,500 Salary

Overview

Earthjustice is hiring a Digital Advocacy Manager in its Communications department, reporting to the Associate Director of Digital Advocacy. The post leads multi-channel digital advocacy campaigns on environmental protection, climate action, clean energy, healthy communities, lands, oceans and wildlife. It is full time at 37.5 hours a week and can be done remotely from within the United States or in a hybrid arrangement from an Earthjustice office. The remote option does not mean worldwide eligibility.

The manager develops integrated campaigns across email, websites, SMS, social media and paid advertising, segments audiences and tests platforms, builds and delivers digital messages and online comments aimed at political targets, responds quickly to political, legal and news developments, and grows email and SMS lists. They also set key performance indicators, maintain dashboards and report with recommendations. The role is supervisory, managing a Digital Advocacy Specialist, and involves training other staff and writing best-practice guidelines.

Salary depends on location. San Francisco or New York pays 113,000 to 125,500 dollars. Washington, D.C., Chicago, Seattle, Honolulu or Los Angeles pays 107,400 to 119,300. Philadelphia, Juneau or Denver pays 101,700 to 113,000. Miami, Tallahassee, Bozeman, New Orleans or Houston pays 96,000 to 106,700. Other locations fall roughly between 96,000 and 119,300. Requirements

A bachelor's degree is preferred, with at least seven years of relevant experience. Experience with an eCRM platform is required, with EveryAction preferred, and a mobile engagement platform such as Mobile Commons is also preferred. Applicants need proficiency with Excel, HTML and digital tools, strong organisation and project management, and the ability to explain complex issues clearly and manage multiple deadlines. Experience with 501(c)(4) organisations is an advantage.
