DACH Senior Solution Engineer (f/m/d)

Overview

This role functions as a DACH Senior Solution Engineer based in London, United Kingdom. Solution Engineers collaborate closely with the sales team to manage essential parts of the sales process, including infrastructural and architectural discovery, collaborative solution design, and technical validation. The position involves working directly with Account Executives to support customers in the DACH region, assisting sales efforts by explaining platform capabilities compared to older legacy technologies, and potentially traveling up to 50 percent of the time to work with global teams.

Requirements

Applicants must be fluent in both English and German and possess the desire to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple teams and opportunities. Candidates need either 3 to 5 years of experience as a Sales or Solution Engineer, Architect, or Solution Consultant for a cloud-based, growth-oriented PaaS or SaaS company, or 5 to 10 years of experience as a developer working on digital experience delivery using marketing technology platforms focused on areas like CMS, Commerce, or Personalisation. Additional qualifications include strong presentation skills, proven experience with current web technologies such as JavaScript frameworks, static site generators, REST APIs, CDNs, and CI/CD, high emotional intelligence, and a natural curiosity for technology-driven business value. Preferred backgrounds include experience with Content Management Platforms or similar MarTech technology, solution selling or value-based selling techniques, and an understanding of MACH products and Composable architectures.
