Coefficient Giving Seeks Business Immigration Associate for Remote Global Role | Salary $130,525 | Apply by September 20, 2026
Overview
Coefficient Giving is hiring a Business Immigration Associate for its Operations team, in a full-time, fully remote position open globally. The role sits in the Global Employment team, which supports how the organisation employs people across jurisdictions, including compensation, benefits and work authorisation. The associate manages U.S. immigration cases for current and prospective employees, coordinates with employees and external immigration counsel, anticipates obstacles and helps build a scalable immigration function.
What the role involves
Responsibilities include day-to-day casework, nonimmigrant visa matters such as H-1B, E-3 and O-1, green card processes including complex PERM cases, collecting information and documents, developing case strategy with outside counsel, keeping employees updated, supporting visa initiation and renewal, and smoothing the transition from recruitment to onboarding. The associate also answers immigration questions, including on travel, maintains documentation, policies and processes, and takes ownership of projects that improve immigration workflows.
Who can apply
Applicants need at least three years of technical business immigration experience, especially with H-1B and green card cases, and strong knowledge of the PERM process, I-140 petitions and adjustment of status. Experience as a business immigration paralegal is relevant, and familiarity with O-1 petitions and EB-1 green cards is an advantage. Excellent written communication, organisation and reliability are essential, along with the ability to prioritise urgent cases and adapt to changes in U.S. immigration policy.
What you get
Baseline compensation for remote U.S. hires is $130,525, made up of a $113,500 base salary and a $17,025 unconditional 401(k) grant. Adjustments may apply for those working from the San Francisco or Washington, D.C. offices or under a New York coworking arrangement, and non-U.S. hires are paid as take-home salary. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, four weeks of recommended paid time off a year, four months of fully paid family leave, professional development support, flexible expense benefits and remote-work assistance.
Requirements
The organisation cannot sponsor visas for this role. International candidates may be considered if they can consistently overlap with U.S. business hours for at least five to six hours a day.
