Overview

Chatham House is recruiting a Research Fellow for West Africa within its Africa Programme. The post is full-time and permanent, based at St James's Square in London, with a hybrid arrangement that requires at least two days per week on site and extra flexibility around events.

The Africa Programme carries out policy research on issues affecting African states and their regional and international relationships. The Research Fellow will contribute to research and convening activities on governance, politics, economy and trade, and security, with a significant focus on Nigeria. There is scope to expand regional coverage over time.

The salary is 45,000 pounds per year.
