Board Test Engineer

Overview

Graphcore is hiring a Board Test Engineer to join the Product Test and Diagnosis team in Bristol, United Kingdom. The role involves developing board and printed circuit board assembly hardware tests from initial design analysis to deployment, and supporting them in factories and the field to expose manufacturing defects and ensure product reliability.

Requirements

Candidates need strong electronics fundamentals, with a particular focus on digital electronics, alongside commercial experience in board or PCBA hardware testing. Applicants must understand manufacturing tests for advanced electronic systems, surface-mount technology, PCB manufacturing processes, failure mechanisms, and automated optical and X-ray inspection capabilities. The ability to diagnose electronic defects down to the component level is also required. Furthermore, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
