Overview
Assent is hiring a Director, Product Management for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The person in this senior, full-time permanent role will set the vision, strategy, roadmap and business outcomes for the company's LCA product capabilities, working with engineering, data, sustainability, sales, marketing and customer success teams. The salary is between €100,000 and €140,000 per year, and the job is fully remote for candidates in the Netherlands, United Kingdom or Germany. Qualified candidates in North America may also be considered.
The Director will define investment priorities, build roadmaps from customer needs and market research, and track LCA standards, methodologies and regulations. The role includes engaging customers, practitioners, consultants and data providers, and working on positioning, pricing and go-to-market plans. It also involves finding responsible uses of AI and machine learning in LCA workflows, with validation, transparency and human oversight, and leading a team of Product Managers by hiring, coaching and setting goals.
Requirements
Candidates should have a degree, diploma or equivalent experience in product management, environmental science, sustainability, engineering, computer science or a related field. The role calls for 10 or more years of progressive product management experience, especially in B2B SaaS, and at least five years of leadership in a rapidly growing organization. Hands-on experience applying LCA methods, or leading software that supports LCA or sustainability calculations, is important, as is experience with data-intensive products, calculation engines, data lineage and auditable reporting. Knowledge of responsible AI, EU Ecodesign and Digital Product Passports is valuable. Strong communication, influencing and strategic thinking skills are required.
