Account Executive - Lyon

Overview

OpenTable is seeking an Account Executive to join its team in Lyon, France. This field-based role combines home working with regular travel across the assigned territory to meet restaurant operators face-to-face and bring new restaurants onto the dining network through a consultative sales approach.

What you get

The position offers an uncapped commission structure alongside vacation time accruing at 25 days a year plus RTTs. Employees receive special time off for weddings, consisting of 4 days off for their own wedding and 1 day for a child’s wedding. Additional provisions include a health and life insurance scheme with Malakoff Humanis and access to an occupational health service through the regional provider. Visa sponsorship may also be offered for suitable candidates.

Requirements

Applicants must have significant business-to-business sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets in fast-paced environments. Candidates need to be native French speakers with professional fluency in English and must possess strong discovery, consultative selling, negotiation, and value-based selling skills. The role requires proficiency in Google Workspace and Salesforce CRM, comfort using data and analytics, and excellent time management, presentation, and organizational abilities. A passion for hospitality and technology is necessary, and experience in restaurant management or food and beverage sales is strongly preferred.
