2026 Opportunity: Become a Founding Community Growth Builder with Gen G – Remote Worldwide
Overview
Gen G, an early-stage global social discussion platform, is looking for a Founding Community Growth Builder to help attract its first real users and turn them into active participants. The role follows a Founding Builder model, in which the successful candidate takes ownership of growth initiatives and works directly with the founding team. It is part-time and fully remote, open to applicants anywhere in the world, with a flexible schedule of about 10 to 15 hours per week. Gen G currently has no capital or revenue, so there is no salary or stipend.
What the role involves
The builder covers the early growth cycle from finding audiences and creating content to distributing it, drawing visitors, generating registrations and encouraging participation. Tasks include researching where potential users already spend time online, spotting trending topics, creating questions, polls and discussions, publishing and sharing content, testing ethical and non-spammy acquisition, outreach and referral strategies, collaborating with other Founding Builders, tracking visits, registrations, participation and returning users, and reporting results and recommendations to the founders, then turning successful experiments into repeatable systems.
Who can apply
Gen G wants curious, proactive, reliable, creative and self-motivated people interested in online communities, startups, digital culture, marketing, content creation or growth. Familiarity with platforms such as X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit or Discord can help. Previous startup or growth experience is not required, and initiative and ownership matter more than job titles.
What you get
Benefits listed include direct collaboration with the Founder, practical training, ownership of real growth work, flexible remote working, portfolio-building experience and recognition for contributions. Strong contributors may later be considered for paid roles, leadership, revenue-sharing or equity arrangements, which are not guaranteed and would need separate formal agreements.
How to apply
Applicants apply by email following the instructions in the original listing. No deadline is given.
