Workplace & Security Engineer - Final Year Intern

Overview

MakiPeople is offering a full-time end-of-studies internship for a Workplace and Security Engineer based in Paris, France. The intern will design, automate, and secure internal systems, including laptop provisioning, access management, and the processes protecting people, devices, and data. Visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates.

Requirements

Applicants must be finishing their studies at the Bac+4 or Bac+5 level in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Candidates need a solid understanding of operating systems and networking, along with exposure to security fundamentals such as access control, device hardening, and vulnerability management. It is required to be comfortable scripting to automate tasks using languages like Python or Bash, and to be comfortable working in English, while French is considered a plus. Familiarity with Google Workspace, MDM solutions, or identity management tools is also beneficial.
