Overview

Doctolib is seeking a working student to join the IT and Security department at the Berlin office. The position involves managing IT inventory and stock, as well as providing day-to-day on-site support in an international environment spanning Germany, France, Italy, and the Netherlands. The role requires physical presence on site in Berlin due to the handling of equipment, combined with flexible working hours adapted to class schedules. The duration of the position is six months, with the possibility of renewal, and a start date at the earliest opportunity.

Who can apply

Applicants must be enrolled full-time at a university, ideally studying IT Systems Management, IT Management, Applied IT, or a related field, and must provide a valid certificate of enrolment. Candidates need to be fluent in German and English, and capable of working on site in Berlin while handling equipment weighing up to 25 kg. While initial exposure to an IT service management or mobile device management tool is beneficial, candidates who feel the description matches their skill set are encouraged to apply regardless.

What you get

The position offers a salary of 15 euros per hour for up to 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks. Employees receive a structured and personalized onboarding program through the Doctolib Academy, alongside in-house training opportunities. Additional benefits include a flexible working model allowing for hybrid and office-based work, a sponsored Deutschlandticket or reimbursement of a semester ticket, 28 vacation days per year calculated pro rata, and the opportunity to work from abroad for up to 10 days per year after six months. Furthermore, company health insurance with additional benefits and subsidies is available after six months, along with regular office breakfasts, lunch or grocery shopping subsidies, and a subsidized sports program through the Urban Sports Club.

Requirements

The role involves spending approximately seventy percent of the time on IT stock and asset management, which includes receiving, checking, labelling, and storing laptops, smartphones, and accessories. Responsibilities require maintaining an up-to-date inventory in the asset management tool to ensure accuracy of serial numbers, assignments, and statuses, as well as managing the full equipment lifecycle covering assignment, return, loan, vendor repair, refurbishment, and recycling. Duties also entail running periodic physical inventories, monitoring stock levels, flagging replenishment thresholds, contributing to supplier orders, and preparing devices through mobile device management enrolment, standard configuration, and accessory kits. Approximately thirty percent of the work focuses on on-site support, which includes handling onboarding and offboarding, running the Berlin IT Corner, managing meeting room hardware, and handling level 1 requests and incidents with escalation to level 2 when necessary.
