The role is contracted for a renewable period of six months with an immediate start date.

The position divides responsibilities between two primary areas: IT stock and asset management, which accounts for roughly 70 percent of the work, and on-site technical support, which represents about 30 percent. Core duties include receiving and registering hardware, tracking devices across their operational lifecycles, maintaining inventory consistency within tracking software, and enrolling equipment into mobile device management systems. On-site duties include preparing joiner and leaver hardware, staffing the Berlin IT service point, maintaining meeting room technology, and addressing basic technical incidents.

Academic backgrounds in IT Systems Management, IT Management, Applied IT, or related subjects are preferred. Candidates must be fluent in both English and German, be capable of working on-site in Berlin, and have the physical capacity to handle equipment weighing up to 25 kilograms.

Demonstrated familiarity with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android systems is required, alongside strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Prior experience working with IT service management or mobile device management applications is considered an asset.

What you get

The position offers a salary of 15 EUR per hour. Working hours are flexible around academic commitments, allowing up to 20 hours of work per week during the study semester and up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks. The position provides 28 pro-rated vacation days annually, a sponsored Deutschlandticket or semester ticket reimbursement, on-site breakfast, lunch subsidies, and subsidized memberships through Urban Sports Club.

Additional benefits accessible after six months of employment include company health insurance subsidies and the permission to work from abroad for up to 10 days per year. Candidates also gain access to internal training opportunities through the Doctolib Academy.
