Overview
The United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) is offering a six-month internship with its Regional Coordination Team for Latin America and the Caribbean, listed under job opening 284870 at the I-1 level. Who can apply
Applicants must meet at least one UN internship education requirement. They can be enrolled in a graduate programme, be in the final year of a bachelor's degree or equivalent, or hold a university degree and be able to start within one year of graduation. Relevant fields include economics, political science, sustainability, environmental studies, development studies, business administration and finance. Professional experience is not required, though some communications experience is an asset.
Requirements
Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish are required because of the regional focus, and Portuguese is desirable. Strong communication skills matter for work with colleagues, stakeholders, consultants and financial institutions.

The internship carries no UN remuneration. Travel, visa, accommodation and living costs are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
