Trainee Accountant

Overview

Flipdish is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join its Finance team within a fast-moving, multi-entity environment. The position is based at the Dublin Hub in Ireland and follows a hybrid work model requiring two days per week at the Sandyford office. The role provides hands-on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end support, audit preparation, and reporting, supporting the foundations of an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA training path.

Requirements

Applicants should have a strong academic record, ideally holding a degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related discipline, and be eager to commence or have recently commenced ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Candidates must possess strong numerical ability, high attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and clear communication abilities. A working knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets is required, along with a proactive approach to taking ownership of tasks. Previous finance, accounting, bookkeeping, internship, or office experience, as well as familiarity with accounts payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, or finance systems, can help candidates stand out.
