Software Engineer Intern

Overview

Back Market is offering multiple Software Engineer Intern positions based in the Barcelona office. Interns join engineering teams to work on projects spanning product, platform, data, payments, shipping, customer experience, or circularity. The role takes place within a hybrid work environment featuring two remote days a week, one remote work week per quarter, and three flex days.

Who can apply

Applicants must be currently enrolled in their final year of an Engineering School or a University Master degree and have a university that can provide an internship agreement. Candidates must already be based in Spain and hold authorization to work there through EU nationality or a valid student visa or work permit. Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in French or Spanish is considered a plus.

Requirements

Candidates must have knowledge of basic coding languages, ideally including Python, along with basic programming experience gained through other internships, GitHub, personal projects, or student projects. Applicants need knowledge of databases and operating systems, the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly, and a detail-oriented approach. Candidates must also have the desire and ability to work in an international team environment.

Key dates
