Overview

Qonto, a European finance workspace for small and medium-sized businesses with banking at its core, is looking for a Social Media Working Student in its Growth department in Berlin. Qonto has around 1,700 employees and serves over 750,000 customers in eight European countries. The working student helps build the brand's presence on social platforms and in the inbox, creating content and supporting the customer newsletter that reaches hundreds of thousands of businesses in Germany. The role reports to the Head of Marketing Central Europe and works with the social media and marketing managers.

What you will do

Responsibilities include writing copy, designing graphics and producing short-form video, including on-camera appearances, using a hook, story and call-to-action structure. The student also scouts creators and customers worth featuring based on reach, niche and brand fit, produces content before, during and after events and coordinates giveaways, monitors competitor activity and handles community interactions. In addition, the student owns the customer newsletter by writing it, building it in the CRM tool and coordinating with Growth, Product and CRM teams to deliver it on time.

Who can apply

Candidates should be pursuing a Master's degree in marketing, business or communication with one to two years of study left, and be fluent in German with strong English so that copy resonates with German businesses. Experience creating content on and off camera, skill in coordinating across stakeholders and comfort using AI tools for content, research or reporting are expected.

What you get

The role splits time between social content and newsletter or CRM marketing, with direct ownership of work that reaches the audience, cross-team exposure and real chances to build an on-camera presence. Perks include hybrid working with up to two days a week from home, access to more than 50 sport and wellness partners, a meal card of up to 100 euros a month, a fully paid public transport ticket and team events. Hiring takes about 20 working days on average.
