Overview

Veepee, the European pioneer of online flash sales that works with around 7,000 brands, is offering a Sales Analyst and Support internship for its Home category in Milan, within the Business Development and Sourcing team. The intern manages a sale together with the Key Account Manager to make sure it stays attractive to Veepee members, analyses and optimises the offer in terms of assortment and prices, and acts as the link between brands and internal departments so that the sales production process runs smoothly.

What you will do

Offer management involves staying in close contact with brands, helping the Key Account Manager collect and challenge commercial inputs for the offer file, designing the offer through analysis of internal and external data to find the best assortment and prices, monitoring warehouse stock against rotation standards, setting selling prices to maximise sold quantities and margin, and forecasting sales and potential turnover. Analysis draws on past campaign data, price elasticity, A/B tests, psychological pricing and benchmarks.

Sales management means securing commercial milestones and compliance requirements so the sale opens on time, and coordinating with data managers and campaign managers for high-quality online sales. The commercial and performance analysis part includes tracking key performance indicators during the sale, producing post-sale reports for the internal team and brand partners, preparing business reviews with the Key Account Manager and creating material for brand meetings.

Requirements

Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing or a related field, strong analytical and data management skills, rigour and organisation under tight deadlines, teamwork, and strong communication and presentation skills. Command of Google Apps and Office tools, especially Sheets, Slides and Excel, is expected, along with excellent Italian and good English.
