Overview

Zynga, a mobile games company and label of Take-Two Interactive, is looking for a Product Manager Intern for the Dragon City team at its Barcelona studio, part of the Socialpoint group. Dragon City is described as one of the world's most iconic dragon-collecting games. Zynga was founded in 2007, and its games have been downloaded over 6 billion times by players in more than 175 countries.

The intern works side by side with experienced product managers and learns how a top free-to-play title is built, measured and grown, including how to analyse game performance, track market trends and help shape the game's future. The role suits someone who loves collection, simulation and role-playing games and enjoys live events.

What you will do

The intern benchmarks competitor collection, social and role-playing games to spot trends and feature ideas, gathers player feedback through community research, surveys and in-game data, and assists with feature and content launches by testing, monitoring and documenting learnings. Other tasks are analysing game metrics such as retention, monetisation and engagement and turning them into actionable insights, and supporting live-ops planning, dragon event scheduling and cross-team coordination.

Who can apply

Candidates should be current students in fields such as engineering, computer science, economics, mathematics, game design or UX, passionate about collection, social and role-playing mobile games, with strong analytical skills and comfort with numbers and spreadsheets. Curiosity about product analytics, game economy and live-ops and excellent English are needed, and Spanish is a plus. Experience with Dragon City, game jams or personal or university projects related to games or app design is a bonus.

What you get

The working model is hybrid, based at the Barcelona office. Benefits include free breakfast and lunch, a gym, an on-site physiotherapist and hairdresser, hands-on learning from senior product managers, private medical insurance, English and Spanish lessons, a Spotify Premium subscription and social events.
