Operations & Strategy Internship (m/f/d)
Overview
bunch, a Berlin fintech startup building operating infrastructure for private markets, is looking for an Operations and Strategy Intern on a rolling basis, with a minimum commitment of six months. The company combines secure data infrastructure, AI-powered workflows and expert fund services in one integrated platform across the fund lifecycle. It reports having crossed 150 fund managers and 12,000 limited partners on the platform and closed a Series B round in May 2026.
The intern joins the core Ops team and takes ownership in one of two focus areas depending on strengths and interests, supporting process execution, improvement and scale. Placement reflects business needs, but interns stay part of the wider Ops team and can explore other areas.
What you will do
In Fund Administration, the intern supports fund onboarding by coordinating investor support, client onboarding and document preparation, troubleshooting operational issues as funds move onto the platform, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and mapping fund structures. This path can lead to careers in fund administration or client and investor operations.
In Venture Operations, the intern sees how unregulated investment vehicles are executed on the platform, managing investor onboarding, investment documentation and capital calls, and helping scale deal execution across jurisdictions with a focus on process efficiency and automation. This path can lead to venture capital operations, business development or project management.
Who can apply
The company wants a recent graduate or student nearing the end of their studies who is reliable, detail-oriented, curious and comfortable taking ownership. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment such as venture capital, consulting, investment banking or business law, or in an operations role, is expected, as is an understanding of private market basics and excellent written and spoken English. Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Make, Asana or Retool is a plus.
What you get
Interns are mentored by experienced operators and founders, work from an office in Berlin-Mitte and enjoy benefits in mobility, food and learning. Hours are flexible and the hybrid setup involves three days per week in the office.
