Marketing Intern
Overview
Thermeleon B.V. is offering a Marketing & Branding Internship based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The intern will support the company in shaping its brand identity, creating engaging content, and increasing visibility within the greenhouse horticulture and sustainable energy sectors. Thermeleon develops the Thermeleon Heat Battery, which functions as an innovative day-night buffer for greenhouses to improve energy efficiency, reuse surplus heat, and reduce natural gas consumption.
Who can apply
Applicants should currently be studying toward a degree in Marketing, Communication, Creative Business, Media, Design, or a related field. Candidates need a strong interest in branding, content creation, and digital marketing, along with an eye for design, visual storytelling, and detail. Proficiency in English is required, while knowledge of Dutch is considered a plus. Affinity with sustainability, technology, and innovation is also valued. Visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates.
What you get
The position provides an internship allowance of €400 per month. Interns gain hands-on experience in branding, content creation, social media management, and marketing strategy within a startup environment. The role involves creative freedom to take ownership of projects from concept to execution, producing real-world assets such as photography and drone footage at high-tech greenhouse locations, and collaborating directly with the founders and a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
Applicants must be comfortable creating content for social media channels, particularly LinkedIn. Experience using design and content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma is listed as a plus. Candidates should be proactive, creative, and able to work in a dynamic startup environment where priorities evolve and experimentation is encouraged.
