Founders Associate Intern: AI Product Consultant (m/w/d)

Overview

The qado GmbH organization is offering a Founders Associate Intern position focused on AI product consulting. Based in Munich, Germany, this internship places the participant directly at the intersection of product, sales, and customers, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders to build an enterprise artificial intelligence platform for procurement.

What you do

The role involves acting as a versatile team member who handles both customer interactions and product development tasks. Responsibilities include building tailored product demonstrations using real prospect data, driving Proof of Value initiatives from kickoff to successful business cases, and conducting end-to-end product discovery through customer interviews and competitive mapping. Additionally, interns identify customer bottlenecks, write engineering briefs, and help translate user needs into technical feature requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate high motivation, adaptability in ambiguous environments, and a strong customer-first mindset to build working relationships. Technical fluency is required, including an understanding of large language model constraints such as context windows, retrieval-augmented generation, and tool calling, along with the ability to review logs for failed workflows. Applicants need strong storytelling skills to present complex concepts to buyers and must be comfortable using artificial intelligence tools to accelerate their own work. Prior experience in consulting, strategy, product, or engineering is considered a plus.
