Credit Analyst Intern (June 2027)
Overview
Lendable is a UK fintech company, profitable since 2017 and with more than 800 employees, that has rebuilt loans, credit cards and car finance on its own technology. It is offering a Credit Analyst internship in its Growth and Analytics team in London. The internship lasts 10 weeks from 29 June 2027 and pays 50,000 pounds per annum.
What you will do
Interns use data and modelling to ground the assumptions in the company NPV model, such as forecasting future default rates, and use analytics to decide whom to lend to and how much, and how that changes with the economy and competition. They run hypothesis tests whose results change how the company works in areas such as lending strategy, pricing and fraud detection, and present findings to senior leaders before working with the product and technology teams to put them into practice.
Who can apply
Applicants should be university students in their penultimate year, whether undergraduate, master's or PhD, with coding skills in Python or SQL. Lendable wants people who enjoy working with numbers every day, can analyse complex data sets and draw insights, are naturally curious and are excited by an entrepreneurial start-up environment.
How to apply
The process includes a 15-minute online test, a coding take-home task, a 60-minute video debrief, a 60-minute video case study, and a final in-person stage with a 60-minute case study, a 15-minute culture conversation and a lunch with recent graduates.
What you get
The company offers flexible working, social events, private health cover, retirement savings, a referral programme, and office meals and snacks at select locations.
