DAAD Research Grants in Germany 2026: Funding for PhD Students and Postdocs

Financial support for 2026 research stays in Germany is currently being provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) through its newly announced grants. Aimed at doctoral students and recent postdocs, the initiative enables scholars to carry out investigative work at German research institutions and universities. Backed by the Federal Foreign Office, this well-regarded program is designed to promote cross-border academic partnerships and facilitate short-term scholarly visits.
