Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme 2027-2028
Overview
The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme provides fully-funded graduate opportunities combined with leadership development, long-term mentoring, and networking. This initiative is part of the Oxford Graduate Scholarships and is supported through funding from the University and donations from the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust supporters, including Fondation Hoffmann. Scholars participate in a year-long leadership curriculum that includes business skills, philosophical discussions, and communication training.
Who can apply
The programme targets outstanding university graduates and professionals, primarily from developing and emerging economies, who need financial support to study at Oxford. Applicants must apply for a new full-time graduate course at Oxford and intend to return to their country of ordinary residence after completing the course.
Candidates must show a clear connection between their field of study and long-term career objectives, demonstrating how their professional work will improve public life in their home country or at a regional or international level. The scholarship is closed to students holding deferred offers for 2027-2028 and to current Oxford students who are not already Weidenfeld-Hoffmann scholars.
What you get
The award covers the entire cost of course fees and provides a living cost grant of at least 21,805 GBP. Funding continues for the entire duration of the fee liability for the agreed course of study.
How to apply
Applicants must select the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme inside the University of Oxford Scholarships section of the graduate application form. A completed Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Statement must be uploaded alongside the graduate application by the course deadline.
Key dates
The application deadline is January 6, 2027.
