Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology Scholarship In Thailand 2027 (Fully Funded)

Overview

The Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) in Thailand offers fully funded Master's and doctoral scholarships to international students from anywhere in the world. VISTEC is a research-focused university with programmes in science, engineering, energy, molecular science, biosciences and information technology. There is no application fee.

What you get

The university covers all expenses during the study period. Accepted students receive university fees, a monthly scholarship and research operation funds. They also receive conference travel support, supporting resources such as a personal computer, books and stationery worth THB 30,000, and access to sports facilities and activities. PhD students can additionally receive up to THB 1,000,000 for research conducted abroad. Amounts depend on the programme chosen:

University fees range from THB 600,000 to 1,500,000 over the course of study, and the monthly scholarship totals THB 444,000 to 1,350,000. Research operation funding ranges from THB 300,000 to 750,000, and conference travel support runs from THB 50,000 to 150,000.

Who can apply

For the School of Biomolecular Science and Engineering, Master's applicants should be final-year undergraduates or hold a B.Sc. in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, biology, physics or related fields, or a Bachelor of Engineering in chemical, biological, environmental, mechanical or related areas, or a Bachelor of Applied Sciences such as pharmacy or medical technology. Doctoral applicants should be in the final year of a Master's degree or hold one, with a good academic record or published graduate research in international journals.

For the School of Energy Science and Engineering, a Bachelor's or Master's degree is needed in fields such as materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, polymer science, ceramic engineering, metallurgical engineering or electrical engineering.
