University of Copenhagen Danish Government Scholarships (Fully Funded)
Overview
The University of Copenhagen Danish Government Scholarships are competitive merit-based awards offered by the University of Copenhagen for talented students pursuing postgraduate, master's, or PhD studies in Denmark. Selection is based solely on academic achievement without consideration of financial need.
Who can apply
Applicants must be citizens of a country outside the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, be admitted to a master’s degree program at the University of Copenhagen, and be granted a time-limited residence permit to study a higher education program in Denmark. Individuals who have a legal claim to the rights of Danish citizens, are eligible for a grant under the Danish State Educational Grant and Loan Scheme, or hold specific residence permits as the child of certain foreign citizens are not eligible.
What you get
The scholarship may provide a full or partial tuition fee waiver and/or a grant covering basic living costs. The exact award varies depending on the faculty and the applicant's academic performance, with some recipients receiving tuition coverage only and not every recipient getting a living allowance.
How to apply
All eligible non-EU/EEA applicants offered admission to a master's or postgraduate degree program are automatically considered, so a separate scholarship application is not required. The University of Copenhagen contacts nominated candidates via email, and nominees must respond to accept or decline the offer within the specified deadline.
