Turkish Government Burslari Scholarship 2027 (Fully Funded)

Overview

The Turkiye Burslari Scholarship is a fully funded program sponsored by the Turkish Government for international students at undergraduate, Master's, PhD and short-term program levels. It is open to citizens of all countries except Turkey, with English-taught programs available in fields such as engineering, medicine, business and social sciences.

What you get

Undergraduate scholars receive university placement, tuition, round-trip flight tickets, health insurance, accommodation, a monthly stipend of 700 TL and a one-year Turkish language course. Master's students receive a monthly stipend of 950 TL and PhD students receive 1400 TL. The program lengths are a one-year Turkish course plus 4 to 6 years for undergraduates, plus 2 years for Master's, and plus 4 years for PhD.

Who can apply

Applicants must be graduates or expect to graduate by the end of the academic year. Minimum academic performance is 70 percent for undergraduate, 75 percent for Master's and PhD, and 90 percent for health sciences such as medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. Age limits are under 21 for undergraduate, under 30 for Master's and under 35 for PhD. Fields include engineering, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, business, economics, finance, arts, literature, history, environmental sciences, biotechnology, international relations and political science.

Requirements

Documents are a valid national ID or passport, a recent photograph, national exam scores where applicable, a diploma or graduation certificate and academic transcripts, with screenshots or uncertified documents not accepted. Applicants also supply international exam results such as GRE, GMAT or DELF and language test results when the program requires them. Doctoral candidates add a research proposal.
