Toronto University Lester B. Pearson Scholarship In Canada 2027 (Fully Funded)
Overview
The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship at the University of Toronto in Canada is a comprehensively funded undergraduate award for international students. It is given to approximately 37 exceptional students from around the world each year and covers four full years of study. The scholarship can be used only at the University of Toronto, for first-entry undergraduate programmes, and is limited to the scholar's first-choice programme at the time scholarship decisions are made. Programmes are available across more than 700 undergraduate options in sciences, engineering, social sciences and humanities, commerce, health and life sciences, architecture, music and computer science.
What you get
The award covers full tuition for four years, a books allowance, all student incidental fees and full residence support throughout the undergraduate programme.
Who can apply
Applicants must be international students, meaning non-Canadian nationals who need a Canadian study permit. They must be in the final year of senior secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2024, and be starting at the University of Toronto in September. Students already attending post-secondary studies are not eligible, and neither are those who began post-secondary studies in January 2026 at another institution.
How to apply
The process is based on school nomination, and students cannot nominate themselves. Their secondary school must nominate them for the Pearson Scholarship competition. Schools not already registered must apply to take part, and schools that participated in previous years receive nomination access starting 6 July 2026.
