Swedish Institute (SI) Scholarship for Global Professionals 2027 (Fully-funded)
Overview
The SI Scholarship for Global Professionals 2027 provides individuals with the chance to pursue world-class education, engage in cutting-edge research, and develop new perspectives in Sweden. This fully-funded program aims to build lasting partnerships for a sustainable and equitable world by investing in global talent. Scholars gain the knowledge, skills, and experiences required to assume leadership roles and drive change within their local contexts, while simultaneously expanding their professional networks. The award supports full-time master's studies lasting one or two years at Swedish universities across study fields including governance, public health, entrepreneurship and innovation, and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
What you get
This competitive funding arrangement covers the full tuition fee, which is paid directly to the Swedish university by the Swedish Institute each semester. Recipients receive a monthly allowance of SEK 12,000 for living expenses throughout the duration of their studies. Additionally, scholars are provided with a one-time travel grant of SEK 15,000, which is reduced to SEK 10,000 for scholars originating from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine; this grant does not apply to students already residing in Sweden. Participants also obtain membership in the SI Network for Global Professionals platform to foster professional growth during their stay. Following the completion of the scholarship period, recipients join the Sweden Alumni Network for ongoing professional development and continued networking.
