PhD Studentship: Functional Genomics of Sexually Antagonistic Selection
Overview
This PhD studentship focuses on the functional genomics of sexually antagonistic selection, exploring how genetic variants that benefit one sex while harming the other persist in populations. The research investigates the molecular mechanisms of sexual conflict and its resolution, combining bioinformatics, genome engineering, and sequencing technologies. The project provides training and collaborative opportunities within the Norwich Research Park.
