Oxford Saïd Future Leaders Scholarships In UK (Funded)
Overview
The Oxford Said Future Leaders Scholarships are awards from the Said Business School at the University of Oxford, supported by Wafic Said and the Said Foundation. They help reduce the cost of the Oxford MBA for candidates with strong academic and leadership records. No separate scholarship application exists: everyone who submits a standard Oxford MBA application is automatically considered for funding at every admissions stage.
What you get
The award is a partial tuition credit, typically worth up to 40,000 pounds, applied directly to the Oxford MBA tuition balance. Up to 40 scholarships are distributed each year according to merit across the applicant pool, with no fixed quota of places. The award targets course fees only, so scholars pay the remaining tuition balance, accommodation, healthcare surcharges and travel themselves.
Who can apply
Eligibility is open to all admitted Oxford MBA applicants, with no restriction by region or industry. The admissions committee looks at four areas: career progression, including rapid growth and measurable impact; leadership potential, including teamwork, initiative and communication; academic and analytical strength, including undergraduate results and GMAT Focus Edition or GRE scores; and a desire to represent the business school as an ambassador during the year and within the alumni network.
How to apply
Candidates assemble their academic transcripts, CV, GMAT or GRE reports, references and the standard Oxford application essays, then submit the MBA application. Offer-holders at all stages are evaluated, but applying in an early stage, such as Stage 1 or Stage 2, improves the chance of securing funding before the overall budget is committed. Scholarship details are communicated with or shortly after the MBA offer.
