Mentora Scholars 2027: Fully Funded Leadership Fellowship for Students
Overview
Mentora Scholars 2027 is a fully funded leadership fellowship from the Mentora Foundation and Mentora Institute for undergraduate students and recent graduates in the United States and Canada. It is rooted in the teachings and research of Dr. Hitendra Wadhwa, founder and CEO of Mentora Institute and a longtime Columbia Business School faculty member. Participants explore purpose, wisdom, growth, love and self-realization as five core energies behind leadership and positive impact.
Who can apply
Current undergraduates at U.S. or Canadian colleges and universities, and students who completed their degree within the past year, are eligible. Graduating seniors may apply but should check their commencement dates against the residential schedule. Applicants should show commitment to personal growth, excellence in their field, positive change and whole-person development.
What you get
Successful scholars receive a scholarship covering programme costs, room and board. Travel to and from the programme and incidental expenses are not covered. Scholars join a lifelong community and can stay involved through the Mentora Scholars network, serve as Campus Ambassadors or apply for the Mentora Fellows pathway.
The programme has two parts. The Core Curriculum runs virtually from February through April 2027, with reading, reflection and community building, and takes about 10 to 11 hours in total. Completing it is required before the Residential Immersion, a 12-day in-person intensive from May 17 to May 28, 2027, held at the Scarritt Bennett Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
How to apply
Students complete the application through the programme's application system, giving accurate details about their education, interests, leadership experience, development goals and commitment to positive change. There is no application fee. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and early applicants receive priority consideration.
Key dates
Applications opened on September 14, 2026. The early priority deadline is November 8, 2026, and the final deadline is January 17, 2027.
